Seajay, from reading this forum I felt you best qualified to help me with my problem. I was in the process of winterizing my MH this Sat. and had gotten to the kitchen sink and was taking water filter off when I found an unopened bottle of Crown Royal hid behind some stuff. I thought great timing the way my back was feeling so I took some for the pain. Hour or so later DW wife came by to tell me lunch was ready and by this time I was painless from back pain. DW just doesn't understand back pain or me doctoring myself. Well she begin pouring my medicine down the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and what was left down commode. Getting around to your expertise can I take the pink stuff back and get my money. Thanks a bunch and I will pay you the 10 cents when I see ya.

Great ideal Skipwil when I get the tears dried up where I can see I'll find me some milk filters and strain the tank. Thanks

It is ''supposed'' that the ''pink stuff'' is safe to drink. I think it is made from some sort of fruit peelings or something like that. With that consideration you might just pretend it is some sort of Crown Royal/fruit punch and dive right in. OR........ the simplest solution is to wash out the anti freeze jug real good and simply go to the ''store'' and get another bottle of C.R. and pour it into the antifreeze jug... Set the antifreeze jug under the sink and tell DW that this is ''spare'' antifreeze for the coach and she should never touch it. (she will never know the difference) Now when you need some Meds? just sneak in the coach and pour yourself a ''snort'' in your coffee cup. By using the coffee cup, DW will never notice that it aint coffee. If she says something about the color just tell her it is Ginseed Tea that does the same thing as Viagra and she better ''brace herself'' or something like that. When DW notices that the amount of ''antifreeze'' (cough cough) is going down in the jug just tell her that it is ''evaporation'' that is causing the liquid to disappear.

Most important thing is that you need to tell me exactly where you live and I will come up and help you ''drain the tank''. You could invite Wayne and Skipwll also 'cause after one sip of C.R./PinkPunch we would not give a hang who we were seen with ................
Tell DW that it is a cardinal sin to waste Crown Royal before it is processed thru the human body.......lol.......

Be safe my friend....... Tks for the compliment...... (i think?)

Thats ten cents the next time you see me Or maybe you and me could just have a nice sip of C.R. and call it square. I got a bottle I bought on the last cruise in 08 and it is aging nicely. I'M savin' it for something ''SPECIAL''......

God bless our vets ...... they INSURED us our freedoms while we slept warm and safe ........ (think about it)

Ok guys I have been waiting for this reply all day. LOL SEAJAY for that responce I will pay at least a dollar. BTW In 1981 I was on a workup in the Carribean. I bought 5 5ths of C R the limit allowed by the tax folks at the time. Almost shot baby brother when he drank one. While I was on next boat trip.

After second thought fill filter under the sink with Crown Royal it won't freeze. Then take a nip off filter through the winter.

Thanks Seajay I was waiting along with everyone else for your reply. Wisdom and knowledge from the elders is like going to therapy for me. I'm o.k. now I've heard from the Wizard. This bunch can help with any dilemma that faces our community. Thanks to all for your encouragement and advice.

P.S. The traps won't freeze with the CR in them will they Wizard?

Hammer Ive always learned from my enemy. When I first joined the Navy my Enemey was the USSR. And they keep their Vodka in the freezer. I now do the same. Also keep rum there. It won't freeze.

Yep Corsair, been there and done that with both. We keep a fifth bottle of Bacarti Lite in the freezer all the time. We get it in ''plastic bottles now'' and it still ''chills'' really good and it will not break if you happen to drop it. (God forbid)
Nothin like a nice Rum and Coke to keep the ''skeeters away''... (cough cough)... and if I can get a couple drinks into Willa, she thinks I look really good and kinda sexy.......(bless her heart)

Lets all ask someone of authority to bring our troops home for Christmas..... Yep, we could do that.......

nuff said again ....
Me.

A couple of suggestions:

1. Replace the lost antifreeze (CR) with a case (in case of emergency) of like quality

2. Replace DW (Dish Washer?) with a late model DW designed to run on ethanol

3. Crank up the coach and proceed south until you see flamingoes and palm trees

Seajay, if it only takes a couple drinks don't let Willa get new glasses. As far as heading south, tie a snowshovel to the front and when someone asks what is that ? you've arrived.
