I sent him an email with a link to this post and told him I just didn't believe there were still idiots like me worrying and thinking of him. Will miracles never cease!

Thanks all, and I'm sure Seajay appreciates all the "nice" comments.

Get well sailor, I know your ears are burning with all this talk about you!!

Seajay update

I just got off the phone with Seajay, for those of you who remember Seajay. You know, that vociferous sailor!

He has been in and out fo the hospital since December 2012. He had his right knee replaced, infection set in, the removed all the knee, cut out the bad spots, grafted some areas back together, put a "halo" on the knee and will stretch it out to get it to the same length as the other one. It will not be able to bend. If all this fails, they will amputate just above the knee.

So, prayers my friends, prayers for Seajay.

I have personally met Seajay. He is a fine person. I consider him a friend.

God bless Seajay, and may he help you to get well.

Semper Fi!

I was reminded of Seajay just the other day. Foxnews had a retired sailor? on the show. He celebrates holidays by waving a huge American Flag from an overpass. His description of using a pvc holder and tying off the flag sounded so familiar.... I only caught the last -less than a minute of the story. Even mentioned to DW, "Could that be Seajay?"..... but I do remember Seajay waving that flag on the overpass above RT 40 in Hickory NC.
I do miss the Seajay stories and admired his love for Willa.

Our prayers for successful surgery and a complete recovery...

I found his post on the flag..Dont insult my Colors

Wayne, pass our best and our prayers on to Seajay. Most all enjoyed his "rememberances" here on the forum.
