Seeing a Nice Gesture Helped Me Today

We went to a medical facility today, took a number and sat down. An old woman came in and made her way to the counter and stood waiting. Someone told her that she needs to take a number. She replied that she didn't know that and began to look around. A young lady with a very new baby got up, walked over to her and gave the old woman her number and then took another number.

It was nice to see that.

I see many people doing doing simple, small things to help or serve others. It is encouraging to see that.

I couldn't agree more. There's a commercial for something that's been running on TV with a similar theme. It does make me want to "do the right thing" more often.

Nothing nicer to make you feel good than a random act of kindness!

Personally, I believe in karma. What goes around comes around.

It is encouraging when we see the young people thinking of someone other than themselves. This young ladies parents can be proud.

Went to Lowes the other day for a couple of bags of cement, got to my truck and started to load them and a young man said here let me get them for you. Maybe things are starting to turn around. Again thanks to the young folks you take time to show kindness to old farts, lol. being 73 I qualify for that title.

My wife and I in our late 60's and 70's were in New York City last year and boarded a subway car that had standing room only. We were very surprised when two young men (about 20 years old) offered us seats. We don't think we need special treatment because of our years but it was a very nice offer.

With all the rudeness that is displayed by all ages of people it is nice to see some kindness. That young lady was raised right, and will probably raise her child like that.

Always good to hear about someone doing something out of kindness You just do not hear of it. I have a neighbor who's husband is very ill. They are in their late 70 's He came home from the hospital with home care twice a day. We call over to see how things were. She said she how tried she was and went to bed early last night left supper uneaten. Well I am not a cook but they live my baked pasta. So I made some and took
Them over a batch. Would you think I gave them a fortune. Made me really good about something that I though nothing about
