She's Dead, Jim!

The biggest branch of the biggest oak tree in my yard came down and turned my winnie into a hot dog bun. I was inside when it happened. Pics coming soon. The branch was bigger than any other whole tree in the yard. Bad times.

If no one was hurt, consider you're self very lucky; and I hate to say it, easier to replace the coach than rebuild the house.

Oh my goodness! I sure hope you are ok. I'm going to assume so since you posted.

Queue the "Like a good neighbor..." commercial.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

WOW! Tony, you're one lucky guy if you were not hurt! "Things" can be replaced, YOU can't!

Glad you are ok.

On the upside, you will have some really good firewood for quite a while, once the Winnie is replaced!

Same thing happened to us a few years ago. The top 30' of a hemlock cut our one year old 17' Casita. TT in half. $10,000 worth of fiberglass repair plus a new axle and she was a good as new. Fortunately all repairs were insured.
