Short term health coverage

Can anyone advise on a 6 month health care plan I can purchase until my Medicare kicks in.

Check with your insurance person, there are short term policies out there.

If you are and Escapee they have an insurance exchange that has short term policies.

Look up agents for aca.

The Web tools are useless but an agent is driven usually to make a sale.

They can look for coverage and if you have a fixed income such as unemployment that that can be used to calculate your package.

Buy fast while window open.

Check with Blue Cross Blue Shield's individual policy. I pay $290 for my daughter's non-ACA coverage including dental, and she's 29 years old. She's high maintenance on healthcare, and they're losing on her.

I understand BCBS is not renewing ACA and individual healthcare policies in Tennessee for 3 of the 4 largest cities--but is continuing to cover those in rural areas. They know where they're profitable, and are not willing to do business where they're printing red ink. More of this experience is expected in all insurance companies.
