It's free but not all channels are available. I had it in my van for several years but got to figuring that a couple of hours a week wasn't worth the fee so dropped it.

We really like our satellite radio, especially when far from home. We're baseball fans so we can always get our home team's games. When parked, we do use the radio channels on Dish. Do have to contact Sirius and argue about monthly charges every few months.

They really make it confusing to subscribe. We had it in the MH and both cars...all on different plans, different bill dates, different bill rates, different bill times. Finally cancelled both cars...they were charging us for a vehicle we had sold a year ago.

Yep listening to it for the past couple of days. They keep sending me letters and a few phone calls to sign up. I keep telling them it's not worth what they charge a month for it. I don't need it for music as I can just connect to my iPhone with hundreds of songs I like. Like cable tv I find I only watch/listen to a few stations and can not justify the expense.

Yup. Google for a good deal. I found a deal for 25 bux for 6 months. You have to watch the renew date so that you cancel service before they auto renew you. Then you wait a week and start all over for 25 bux.

Don't give them a credit card number, or you'll automatically be bumped up to their highest monthly charge when they renew you. Tell 'em to send you a bill, pay by check. Then when your subscription stops, they'll get in touch, offer lower prices, and the cycle starts over again...

We dumped them, bought an $8 USB thumb drive, put about 1200 songs on it, and it works for us. Too danged pricey for what you get, and we found we normally would listen to only a couple of channels anyway.

I mostly listened to Willies Place and the bluegrass channel once in awhile. We just bought a new car and it came free for 3 months, will probably drop it at the end of the subscription. If we traveled a lot it would be worth while but we don't so it's not.
