Slight quandary I need a bit of help with.

I was doing something on the motorhome and thought I bloew a breaker so I opened the little electrical panel to see. Trust me to break the little nylon two piece gizmo that holds the door shut. The door has a slot that goes over the fastener and then you turn the inner part 90 to get it to hold the door closed.
The top picture is where the unit mounts
The middle picture is the hole in the door that the latch fits through
The bottom is the make model etc

Does anyone have a name of the gizmo I need and also hopefully a source of same?

Why not contact them again and ask "Where can I buy one"?

I asked when he told me they only deal with dealers. I asked for the closest to me dealer that ordered from them or used them as an inventory supplier and the guy said I'd have to call the dealers myself. About as pleasant to deal with as a phart in a confessional.

Normally I would not make this recommendation but since you broke the door....

I would recommend a new converter

That looks like a Magnetek 6300 which on the list of good converters..DOES NOT APPEAR.

You are probably correct, but being it works as well as any 20 year old unit can be expected to work I will chance leaving it there. It has one issue that i have overcome with a 2 amp battery maintainer that I paid $20 for and it works for the rest of the work it is required to do. If more issues develop I'll jack up the plates and replace the vehicle.
