The cameras indeed do maximize finance, but by not having to have a cop sit at every red light all day long. Those cameras DO indeed make the road safer. Thats good enough for me.
I've probably slid thru 1 or 2 red lights in my life, but I at least will call a spade a spade ... running lights aint alright just because you have a 'good' reason.

My red light infraction was making a right turn on red light, not like a lot of people during evening rush hour running red lights just to beat the traffic. How many times have your had to wait after your light has turned green and the on coming traffic keeps turning in front of you after their light has truned red?
