Snow ?

So, we decided that we would stay home this winter. Todays forcast is 5 to 9.5" of snow with winds at 40 MPH. (overnight) So what was it that made me think a winter in Iowa would be OK? At least the MH is tucked away inside!

We escaped Michigan Nov 15th. Now in Sorrento, Florida. Pretty much 75-80 everyday and one day of rain.

They are talking 14 inches with high winds for us tomorrow. Guess all we can do now is hope that March gets here fast and is a no snow, no cold end of the month.

After the holidays keep a eye on the weather forecast for going south and then peal out of there on a nice day. Wish I could do that. I'm kinda tempted to there isn't too much stopping me anymore. I could take a couple of weeks off anyway. Oh, but, ya, there is that whole money thing getting on the way. I forget about that sometimes when I dream about going south.

The SNOW would not bother me much with 22.5" Mitchlin XRV's but.. the 40MPH breeze.... Yup, good choice 40MPH blow with snow not a good combo, on several levels. Best place to be in weather like that is cuddled up to a significant other under a nice warm blanket.

As it turns out we received more than a foot and the power was out for several hours. Yes we did snuggle under the covers.
