Not snow, but very very heavy precipitation occurs just about 15 miles from here. Henderson Lake, BC gets something close to way too much annually.
- Greatest precipitation in one year. 9,479 mm (373.189 inches or 31.0991 feet), Henderson Lake, B.C. (1997)
- Greatest average annual precipitation. 6,655 mm (262.008 inches or 21.834 feet), also Henderson Lake, which is near Ucluelet & Tofino.
Now someone once said snow equated to about 1 inch of rain to 1 foot of snow so I'm glad we don't get the snow in this part of Canada.

I'm thinking these folks who want snow are younger than I am.

I can see it on Mt San Jacinto right now. A mountain I climbed many times in my youth more than a half a century ago, spent nights sleeping on the stuff and thought I was having fun.

I'll cherish the memories, and I wish you folks that want snow all you can cherish of the real stuff.

Supposed to be 75 here tomorrow, I can hardly wait.

I like the way it snows here. Woke up yesterday with 3 or 4 inches of snow on the ground. By dinner time it was gone except for in some shady places. The mountains all around are still snow covered of course.

Not sure if this will work or not but it's pretty cool if it does.
