Let's pray that Punxsutawney Phil does NOT see his shadow.

On Feb. 2nd, all eyes will be on Gobblers Knob.

If he sees his shadow there will be six weeks of winter. If he doesn't there will only be a month and a half.

Wink

Whine, whine. Hey, it's winter. Ya gotta expect some snow in the cooler areas. We're going to get another 3-5" on snow today. If the wind comes from the east across Lake Superior we may get some "lake effect" snow. Last year we got 4" of snow the first week in May. Seems we have 6 months of construction and 6 months of winter.

Yep and that is the reason I left Ohio.

I subscribe to the Chinese concept yin yang. I APPRECIATE the snow and the cold, even at its worst. When the crocus breaks through the snow, is for me, a high point. It's another year where nature has tested you and you have endured it's best shot. Though I own 30 garden tractors which can handle the snow, I feel the best with a shovel in my hands. When that day comes where the crocus peeks out I'm happy. You cannot have that without yin yang.

Suffered through 00" of snow last. Latest report from weather bureau's storm central is that we can expect at least that much again tonight. Something's got to be done about these 65-70 degree days and 40-45 degree nights. No human should have to endure this.
