Snows a coming!

Listening to the news and it sounds like Snowmageden is going to hit South Eastern Michigan tonight and tomorrow morning.

I sit out on my patio every morning with my coffee and look at my Moho and can only dream as the snow falls. Can't wait til spring when I can get her ready for a good season of camping, already have several of our trips planned. Snow go away.

Mines sitting in a storage lot. Went and hugged it today. Poor thing looked like it was about to freeze its tire covers off! I can't wait for spring to get here!

We are lucky, we don't live in a neighborhood with covenents and can park it on our lot. We have a wooded acre and I built a pad for her to park on. We get to see her every day and can work on it any time we want.

We just got 2 feet on Monday and are now due for 12+ inches in 2 days. And it is 8 degrees F right now with winds at 25 to gust at 45!

I'm leaving Arkansas (north central) this Sat for New Mexico. I've had enough winter. I really miss the SUN.

This was my drive home today in MI about 3pm

I live in MI and this was my drive home. The wind was blowing the snow straight across and there were already many snow drifts. Eight people in the ditches on my 32 mile drive home. It took a lot longer to get home and I don't expect to go in tomorrow since the drifts are beyond the bottom of my car.

Figured a few years ago that it cost me more to get towed out than I make in a day and that is if I only go in the ditch once. An accident is another costly thing with this weather and not always your own fault.

Keep safe all and I wish I was going back to Mexico with you. Was there in January February 3 years ago and loved it.

We're already over 10" in the Detroit area and no sign of letting up. If you don't need to be out in this mess, then don't!

We dodged a bullet in central OH. Fri's forecast was for 8" of snow today. East coast high pressure pushed in warm temps & the low pressure north. Ended up with less than an inch & mostly rain. May get a bit of a dusting tonight, but all in all, our hype was nothing.

You all be safe up north there!

It's 8 this AM and the wind blew like crazy last night. I called in this morning because I could not get out of my driveway and then 32 miles to work I just couldn't drag myself to do it.

I don't think we got that many inches but the wind made some pretty impressive drifts. Can't use the front door until we dig it out. I looked at the drift across the drive and made the phone call. Too cold to go dig it out.

Am off the next two days so hopefully it settles down by then.

Have a great day all, Lynne
