Cool, definitely cool! One of my clients, a US citizen, always would travel with the Canadian flag on his luggage. He said he Canadians never have ticked anyone off enough for them to want revenge.

Very funny. My kids spent couple of years traveling europe and asia, when in anti-american situations they would sometimes use the "were canadians" to avoid conflict. Usually helped.

We have been to Canada twice. Both times we fell in love with the people but we were on the western side so cannot speak to center. I have been to the Eastern part (Bay of Fundy) and enjoyed it but found the folks, overall, were not as warm as the western ones. It is the cleanest country I have ever been in. We camp in Big River, CA with a bunch of Candians and have a lot of fun with them. Good folks all.
