Reading/watching "This link" brings up some stuff that will make ya think and go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Look back on the developments over say the last 20 to 30 years. Then imagine what will happen in the next 20 to 30 years.

What kind of things do you forsee???????

WOW!

Don, that is some pretty spookie stuff. I reminds me of my Grandmother telling me in 1960 about when she was growing up in the 1870-80's, no electricity, no cars, no planes, no phones, no indoor plumbing- nothing that we take for granted in todays world. It is truly mind-boggling when you think about it!

Good video - Thanks, Glenn.

Ya know Glenn that was my first thought too. My great Grandmother on my Mom's side told me what it was like when she grew up just a few miles from where I live. Lot of the same stuff.

Then my great Grandmother on my Dad's side told me what her life was like growing up as well. Only differance was she was of the Choctaw Tribe. She also would tell me "Stories". Mom and Dad said that was the ONLY time I would sit STILL for hours. Little did I know at the time she was passing on my heritage.

Fast forward to about ten years ago... Cathy and I took our daughters to a "Pow Wow" held by the tribe in Marksville, LA. We walked by a "Story teller" and stopped to listen. I KNEW when she was telling the story how it would end somehow. All of a sudden I was a very young kid again. The stuff that came flooding back was unreal. I had to explain to Cathy later why I all of a sudden got unsually quiet and distant.

So will our children say the same when they are the "Older folks"??????

I can remember in my early school days a teacher talking about putting a man on the moon. He said even if they could build a rocket ship that would go to the moon that the people inside of it would die of old age a long time before they got there. WOW

1. Many of us will be gone.

2. They will finally have narrowed down the list of possible fathers for Anna N. Smith's baby to 400.

3. Someone, somewhere, will still be balming G.W. Bush for high gas prices.

I tell my kids when we were at my great grandma's house we used to bath in a number 3 wash tub. I was the only boy so I took one after the girls. Had to take the durt off the top of the water to get clean. Water out of a well by bucket. Heated in the well on a wood stove. Those were the times. Also hoped you had a full moon when you had to go to the outhouse at night. Cows where in the yard.
