Update: My legs continued to get worse with each passing day, at least through yesterday. We've had to delay our departure for an as yet undetermined amount of time. We were supposed to be at PETRO's home this weekend before heading west. The folks here at the Madison KOA have been very accomodating, shuffling their reservations to allow us to stay as long as we need to. We've committed to stay to Sunday, after that it will be day to day. Again, the staff here has told us no problem.

As I'm typing this I'm laying on the sofa, with my feet up and my legs on a heating pad. We're hoping total inactivity for a few days will start to show some improvement and we can get going. Work, dream and plan for years, and the universe steps in to remind you that you are NOT in control.

Such a senseless, unnecessary tragedy. Jay, best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery, and condolences for the loss of Abby. She always will travel with you.
