I've been using AOL for years. It has a spell checker for writing letters and using "MS Word" but it won't pick up on irv2 spelling errors during my postings.

I recently downloaded Mozilla Firefox for internet access. It has a spell checker built into its program. It's wonderful .

I like to at least try to spell decently- grammar is something else-

This is just for your info--

Since I found Firefox I never think about using IE. Of course I use Safari with my iPhone.

We switched over to Foxfire about 9 months ago. Seems like with IE we would get a bug every 6 months and tons of spam. First we tried "Opera" for internet access, but had compatibility issues with other programs. I fellow from our church came over and helped switch us over to Foxfire and a-squared. He said world-wide hackers and people up to no good attack Internet Explorer with worms and viruses. We all notice a lot less spam with Foxfire...And the built-in spell check covers everything from IRV2 forums, email ......

Once I went to Firefox Mozilla, I never looked back. Their add-on's are the greatest. I never get bogged down with IE anymore. Took it off the machine.

Sorry Bill Gates, one less user of IE and one more satisfied user of a user built browser application that focuses on the customer, ease of use, speed, versatility and without having to send errors every other minute.

I too use FireFox mainly due to the fact that i can have many, many tabs open w/o crashing.. But, dont be fooled at all by the claims of 'more secure'.. FireFox is just at risk..

I think I have had it explained as, The girls in Canada say, " you can"
Girls down south, USA, say " ya'll" can
I think it sounds cool.

There is no such thing as a "secure" Internet browser. Each person needs to be diligent in securing their own computers by installing the best Firewall, Trojan and Virus protection they can afford. I use many and have used Zone Alarm in the past where I can visually see when there is outgoing and incoming "traffic" with my laptop.

Rebelone,

I heard many of those Canadian girls say, "yes, you can, Eh!"

I haven't spent much time in the Southeast to listen to those Southern Bells talk but next month I plan to leave for Florida and many other parts of the Southeast to spend the next 2 years over on the East Coast. Looking forward to those sweet talking Southern babes.

I usually go with "y'all". Not born in the South but have been here for 16 years now... the expression HAS crept into my vocabulary!

I'll give 2 thumbs up for Firefox too... have had it on the computer for several years. I have had a few websites though that didn't load as expected so I left IE on the computer for those rare occasions.
