Hope you are enjoying your stay. We have been staying there at least once a summer since they opened. A bit pricey, but worth it in our opinion.

The developers (the Rose family) also own the KOA that is about a mile or so south. It is also one of the nicest KOA's that we've experienced. They have the same customer service attitude at both locations. They are a hands on family and you will always find one of the owners on site at both locations.

If I may ask, whats a "Bit Pricey"? Maybe shed some light on a 3 day and a one week stay. Thank You!

Their rates are up in the $65+ range, depending on developed the individual site is. It is a perfect location for exploring northern Michigan. Petoskey is a destination in itself and is only about a 1/2 hour drive to the "bridge" and Mackinaw City. A trip to Mackinaw Island is worth a day, and then day trips up to "the Soo" and other areas in the eastern U.P.

If you are coming up from NC don't miss the Traverse City area. Another very nice RV resort is Traverse Bay RV Resort located immediately north of Traverse City. When we stayed last year they were in the $45 range for a night.

Both Traverse Bay RV Resort and Hearthside Grove are condo style parks. Both are very nice, and well located in their respective areas. While Traverse Bay is very nice, Hearthside is magnificent.
