It depends where you live , the office for state farm told me they ( state farm ) does not reinsure with a Loyds of
London for protection , on all losses they have to pay out of pocket 100%

I paid through the nose when the kids were at home , service was great

My house went from 1400 to 1800 .
Geico and Safeco are both at 1054 a yr .

I used to have a 250 deduc. Then it went to 500 , then 1000, then 1% trying to keep my cost dn

Nope I'll be leaving SF

Started with State Fram when I was under my parents policy (1964) and have been with them ever since. Currently have the SB, MH, 2 trucks, 1 SUV, 2 ATV's and 2 snowmachines. Yes we have had claims during our time and I have not seen the price increase that some claim. Yes the price has gone up but not to the point that I thought the increase was excessive. Appeared to be most COL type. We have looked at other companies but, since 1 of the turcks us used in a business, they will not insure it.

1st, a little history. I'm shopping for a DP, looking at a 06 Trave Supreme Select, and called Progressive, Good Sam's, and Geico, since they specialize in RV's. I got quotes of $3200-3400 from Good Sam's and Progressive. GEICO would not quote it based on it's new cost, even though I would be paying about 40% of the new cost.

I called State Farm, who I have a commercial vehicle policy with, and gave them the info. Today, I got a quote of $950 w deductibles of 1000/1000. I called them back and asked what was covered. He said anything that is attached to the RV and 10K for personal. What am I missing here?

I went through the same thing with Farmers. Seems like they all went up and came up with the 1% deductibles, around that time. I was told it was due to the 2011 fire season.
