In your state, what is average cost per gallon of gas/diesel? Where I live, regular gas is $3.78 per gal. and diesel is running $3.99 per gal.

Today's average price State by state
Louisiana Average Prices
Gas $3.849
Diesel $3.974
So your area is higher then average for LA.

We are lower for gas, but higher for diesel. We were in Monroe last weekend and gas was $3.73 and diesel, $3.89. I can't figure out how 100 miles can lower the price of fuel. Makes me wonder what is really going on.

The easiest place to find out about gas prices is Gas Buddy. Prices are color coded by county, and you can even zoom in and find prices for specific locations.

I check the Cheap gas site here in Fl.
Florida Gas Prices - Find Cheap Gas Prices in Florida
In my area one Sunoco has gas for $3.73 and six blocks away another Sunoco has it for $3.97! I guess they are going to have that $3.97 gas for awhile....

Here in the chicago area, gas is fluctuating between 4.10 and 4.45 over the past few weeks. Diesel has been stable at 4.05-4.10 for months.
They tell us we pay the highest gasoline prices in the country. I'm honored, I guess.

$3.82 for gas and $3.89 for diesel here in western Ky.

Right now, diesel is cheaper than premium. 3.94 for regular, 4.13 for premium, 3.99 for diesel.
