Now if they would only move away and never bother anybody again, that would be something!

Who cares that YOU don't care?
Why reply if all you can say is something negative?
I like American Idol.
Have watched it since its inception. Has been a great form of laughs and entertainment during the cold winter nights in Northeast Ohio...
AND I got to see some rising stars get their start! Carey Underwood is the first to come to mind....But of course; some out there might not appreciate good entertainment...
It's sad to see Steven Tyler leave as he was a hoot and was a fresh influx of comedy in the show.
Hopefully Mariah Carey will be able to handle the judging; but from what I've read she has a hard time criticizing people so it might prove to be a bad fit for her. I mean; they're only paying her 20 million this season....
I hope they get a second performer as a judge...someone with a sense of humor would help. Robin Williams would sure light it up!

In truth, I actually do think Steve Tyler has more upstairs than my comment may have indicated but in any case still find the show to be tired and my life wouldn't miss a beat (ignore the pun) if it went off the air. The fact that an airhead like Maria Carey who once thought Michael Jordan was dead when someone asked her a question about the passing of King Houssein of Jordan can get paid 20 million dollars a season to adjudicate a talent show says something very sad.

I think it would be cool if they brought back one of the winners as a judge.

Steve, Kim and Theo.
