Wow, that kept getting worse all the time . Your experience with GS is so typical and it's why I have nothing to do with their services. I'm sorry for your run of bad luck.

Welcome to the IRV2 forums, and thanks for the narrative that makes all of my troubles seem small.

WOW. all I did was blow a 10,000 to replace engine.

As for the locked doors.

Getting the door open is fairly easy, I have only failed 2 times (one was a Big Chevy Pickup)

Getting it in Neutral however, a bit harder.

Karen, I know this is a bit after the fact... but be sure Steve continues to do his exercises for awhile...
My hubby had a much similar break of his elbow when we were moving 16 years ago and while he was faithful to do the prescribed exercises, the wires still sometimes tend to bother him and he can feel the bolt or screw head or whatever they used at the end of his acromion process when he puts his elbow on the table top. Weather can bother it a bit, but not enough to go for another surgery to remove all the hardware....even though it is his left elbow, I rode him to get the exercises done for a long time, and he now has full use... when it gets weaker... I hound him about it again! LOL!

Thanks, Martha. Steve has an artificial hip and a fused spine so he is no stranger to physical therapists. He calls them physical terrorists.

My Dad fell over on his bike (toe clips too tight) and broke his elbow a number of years ago. Post surgery/healing he was going to physical rehab and stopped for a donut on his way home. Got in the little vw pickup, put it in gear, and headed down the road. He picked up the donut and then realized he couldn't bend his elbow enough (yet) to get the donut to his mouth! And he needed the other hand to shift. Of course the whole point of eating it in the truck was so my Mom wouldn't know, so he got busted!
