I'm with Fidelity, have been since about 1980. I may have realized more ROI elsewhere, but I'm conservative. Spoke with one broker, he said just write me a check in my name and mail it to me_. Hope he is still not holding his breath.
Spoke with Alanon (I think), a church investment, loan operation. They assured me of an outstanding ROI and safety of my money. Today the president is in prison and his 3 sons are awaiting trial for embezzlement.

I would set a loss limit, 10, 15, 20%, whatever you are comfortable with. The best broker will have low fees and high returns. Brokers make their money by making trades and when they make too many trades it's call “churning”. There are laws against this but it still happens, it's how they show production. In my view if stock brokers were any good they would be using their own money to make their millions instead of yours.

I agree, that's why Bernie is in jail now, his son is dead and Bernie's wife still has a lot of the cash they stole.........
