Stolen Motor Home

Just got this from FMCA and thought it might be a good idea to pass it along. Doesn't say if the RV was in for service or belonged to CW.

Amazing that someone would steal a big DP. Maybe they plan to paint it in camouflage so nobody will suspect. Pretty tough to hide I would think.

There are so many Motor Homes on the Roads these Days that with a Switched Plate and a bit of Road Dirt they all look remarkably alike!
Unless the Highway Patrol is really bored ,i doubt that too many get stopped for a registration check and a saavy thief would have a pretty easy time getting away with it!

"Sorry to pull you over folks. Looking for a rig looks just like yours.". I can hear it now.

Hope they find it and it was CWs and not a private party now homeless or missing out on their holiday trip to visit family.

We found that out by mistake a few years back. We bought 2 new pickups for the company fleet from a local bankruptcy auction. 1 Ford, 1 GMC.

About 4 years (and countless parking tickets and moving violations ) later someone finally noticed that the plates for the red GMC were one the white Ford and had been all along.

You'd think a cop looking at a white Ford would notice the ownership in his hand said red GMC but it took a new employee trying to find the right truck in the lot to catch the error.

BTW, the observant young lad is now a supervisor.

Maybe a "prepper" stole it and it's under a camouflage net already?

a few years back there was a tv show, let's say 60/60, on stolen vehicles. on an island i think in the bahamas the public officals were driving stolen cars. mercedes, lexas, high end. so mh might be living on an island or in a chop shop. think about the resale price when parted out.
