Storms / Tornado hits RV Park in Oklahoma City

Keeping our thoughts and prayers for everyone especially the RV'ers who were hit with severe storms, tornadoes and flooding in OKC. Our local news outlet interviewed a man from the RV park who says many rigs were destroyed.

The RV park was filled with some permanent residents as well as folks traveling through although I did not catch the name of the park. Let's keep them all in our thoughts and prayers.

Local Oklahoma City media show catestrophic damage in the park. Class As, big fifth wheels, Class Cs, and TTs all in pieces. One Class A chassis upside down and pretty much flat on the ground. Most people made it to a shelter, but a number were injured, some critically.

Lesson to take away: when there are tornados in the area, don't wait to go to the shelter.
