Street Names ......

I just want to throw this out there to see if we can get some good chuckles. I hope the thread goes viral since we all travel.

Coming back home on Route 17 (N Bnd) in South Carolina, we passed by this little obscure street.

[ OVER Dr ]

We thought that was pretty funny!

The Houston area has tons of 'em. Buffalo Speedway has always been one of my favorites.

South of Houston a small town has two streets...This Way and That Way.

In Oak Ridge North there is Lane Lane.

Another in north Houston is Dusty Road.

Possum Run Road in Bellville, OH (we lived there when Dave & I were newlyweds). It acutally runs about 10 miles from Mansfield to Newville. Although the possums I saw on it mostly weren't running - they were squished.

I-10 between Phoenix and Quartzsite is crossed by Sore Finger Road (I've been trying for years to find out how it got its name).

Back in the late sixties, early seventies, Abilene, Tx had both an Over Street and an Under Street. Pity the two never crossed each other.

If my memory is not totally gone there is a "Hollering Woman Creek" that crosses I-10 just east of San Antonio.

That happend when they don't run fast enough....

Also, saw one in West Virginia some years ago "DOG RUN ROAD". Wasn't much of a road, just dirt, and I didn't travel it so I don't know how many dog's were there.
