I have rented a stump grinder this weekend. This will be the first time I have used one. Any hints? Thanks

Wear eye and ear protection. Everybody stays behind the operator.

Used to do that for a living years ago. Not only safety glasses and ear protection, wear high boots and cover the family jewels, too.

I've never run a stump grinder. But they have to be kin to a chain saw. Those are the meanest most unforgiving things invented since God came up with women.
