make sure all your roof vents are closed. Nothing like your cool air getting sucked out going down the highway.

Also I never used the dash air. I have a gasser so it takes usable power from the engine and mpg. Generator sips gas comparatively speaking and runs a whole lotta stuff.

cb1000, a July 9 day trip yielded 5 days of 102-107 bright sunny days for us. No shade what so ever. Out 2 13.5k btu Dometics did well while parked...78 was warmest we got through the day inside. I had all awnings out, windshield covered on the outside. We kept 1 fan running to aid in moving air. We kept ACs on 24/7 so they had a head start each day....granted we weren't driving but our 36 feet was very nice all day long
