Wife made crawfish corn bisque. Great on a cold rainy night with thunder in the distance.

Guess it could have been. But sounded more like a stampede or horses running by. :*)

And how'd that go for you?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I had confidence in the Hawks, but seemed like the Broncos just couldn't get out of the starting blocks tonight. Sincerely hope to see Peyton continuing, he's a class act...

Both Thom and I went and had our nails done. They put the game on and most in there were happy when the game went into blackout for some reason for Time Warner ... nothing on the TV for awhile ... blessed silence.
Then we went to Best Buy to return a brand new coffee maker that leaked on the bottom.
Then we went to a restaurant because by that time it was just too late to think about taking something out of the freezer and cook it. This was the 4th time eating here .... worst service ever there, if it had been the first time I doubt we would ever go back. We will call management to let them know that we were not happy with waiting a long time for the waitress to do much of nothing. Oh wait she was also the bartender. They should have had someone else take over doing something instead of sitting in the empty part of the place watching the TV. Sorry but customer's should come first and not a game of any sort.

Neither one us plays football so we don't bother watching it. Makes no difference to us about them.
When we go to bars or restaurants we take in a bag with dice and card games. We have no problems with people asking questions or even teaching how to play them. Most are quick easy games to learn and most you will not find most places, we got most at a comic/gaming store where they play DnD and Magic a lot

A bit late, sorry was game day. We was busy! Wish it was closer. We had to be kid friendly so it was Beef Flank, shrimp ring, Buffalo Wings (not too much butter added)rice pilaf, for the game the munchies were peanut butter balls and chewy white chocolate and Macadamia and butterscotch chip cookies (store bought sorry ran outta time), salsa plate, celery sticks & carrot sticks
