Superbowl

Billionaires paying to sit in boxes to watch millionaires chase a cow skin, with poor folk watching on tv.

Better than paying a couple of grand for seats in the end zone nose bleeds. I went to a November outdoor CFL playoff game in Edmonton Alberta, I'll watch the tube thank you very much.

You can be sure that there are probably some in the stands that really shouldn't be there. Some will sacrafice paying bills just to say they were at a Super Bowl. I used to see it all the time at the Daytona 500. Sad but true.

I like the commercials more than the game myself.
Power out made the 49ers power up!
30 second commercial - $4 million.
Fans sucked back 50M cases of beer!

Let's see what did we do while the game was being played? Dishes, washed the bike, teased each other, went to the front office here at the park to see about mail, did some fast walking (trying to loose some weight), made and ate dinner. I may have missed something but yea for us our motto is "If we don't play it we don't watch it" Why some people learn so many statistics about games I still can't comprehend but hey that's something that they wanted to do so I am not going to tell them that they were wrong.

How about that half time show? Dancing bimbos in their underwear lipsinking. I almost spit out my Guinness with the sparkler guitar. Not impressed. Muted it and ignored until the game came back on.

I was impressed by the Dodge truck commercial though.

Smart move by the Ravens to take the safety in the last seconds. Strange the 49ers didn't figure it out when the announcers had already.

I'm sure glad I got off the habit of watching professional sports. I now have time to participate in sports of some kind instead of watching someone else do it.

I came to the conclusion some time ago that the majority of sports fans are fans only because it's the in thing to do, but has no redeeming qualities.

All IMHO!

Agree with all but for the 'bimbos' in the half time show....LOVED IT. (wasn't lip-synched either) Was the best part of superbowl, along with a few of the ads (which cost $4M for 30 seconds to air!)

Didn't like the ore game, or the halftime comedy.

Calling both bimbos was being gracious. Did enjoy the game once after the lights went out they had a game. First part of the game was just sad.

I beg to differ, calling anyone names is never gracious

That's ok. You can differ, you don't have to beg, it was gracious tho. Pre and half shows sucked.
