Going in for total knee replacement tomorrow at 9:15 am. It will be good to be able to walk normal again with no pain. If you happen to think of it please pray for the surgery. I'm a wimp and hate pain.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
Pat had her left knee replaced last september. She has recovered nicely and gets around a lot better than before the operation. Our prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Just do your exercises as they instruct you and it will be fine.

JimmyDee,
Hope everything went well with your surgery.
I don't know where in W.MI you are, I had a replacement two years ago at Borgess in Kalamazoo.
Happy it was done, it got rid of the pain.
Do the exercizes they give you religiously.
While in there I talked to a man who was getting his second replacement, but he couldn't bend his first knee replacement completely because as he said he quit working on it too soon. MIne works great.

Don't wait to have it. I'm 11 days post op and I'm walking with one crutch. Pain? Yes but the pills make it doable and for about the last 6 or 7 days, I'm in less pain than I was before the surgery. I have been walking more with less pain than pre surgery.
As soon as the Dr. gives the green light, the other one gets done. The results of this surgery, will give me a mobile, pain free life from here on.

Just reading your note about your surgery... you're a brave soul! Bless your heart. Hope your healing goes fine and that you'll be "running" with the best of 'em soon! Take care....
Chris

Glad it went well Jimmy Dee. Post when surgery is on your other knee, and I'll be sure to pray. Keep on doing the exerecises. I know they hurt, but you don't want your knee to stiffen

The other knee will be done tomorrow at 7:30, 6 weeks to the day later. The first one is doing fine and I walking on it with no cane or crutches. Looks like if this one goes as well as the first one, I will be back to a normal active life in a short time.

JimmyDee, best of luck. At least you will still have the use of both hands and can use the keyboard....once you get it set up so that you can get close to it and be comfortable.
Take care of yourself is number one prioroty.
