Texas is not so much a geographic location as it is a State of mind. Always got a kick out of the UT vs OU hype as were originally from Dallas. Wouldn't mind being down home to see that game. Got family running from Oklahoma City to 80 miles east of College Station at Crockett and then south to Houston. Go Aggies!

A minute thirty to play. A&M passed, ball bounced off A&M jersey into the hands of OSU. Final - OSU 30 - A&M 27. If it just had been caught. Oh well, there is always next time.

Way to go Cowboys, great win over a top 10 team. Good luck Aggies in the SEC, our best wishes for you in a new conference, it is a Real shame we could not work it out to stay together. The Cowboys understand your frustrations all too well!

Ok Aggie fans, welcome to the SEC! Somebody give a Ms State Bulldawg the 411 on RV parking and tailgating at A&M. Can't wait or the 2012 schedule to see if you are coming to Starkville or we are coming to Texas. Go dawgs! " The spotted variety, not the pale sickly ones"

Its official...Texas A&M University has been accepted into the SEC.

Baylor gave a last ditch effort by threatening to file a lawsuit against A&M when they should be spending their money on a stadium worthy of college football.

Its going to be a great ride and you Dawgs, War Eagles, Tigers, etc will find Kyle Field to be a grand facility to both play and watch college football. Can 't wait.

Just a quick SEC mascot lesson, Roll Tide comes with an elephant?? All War Eagles are tigers but not all Tigers are War Eagles? And there is something going on between a bear and an old man with a cane and a fedora?

You will find we're pretty straight talking on this side of the Sabine River...not much in to the code stuff. I did once attend a little game up in Dallas where a little underdog team from College Station coached by Gene Stallings whipped up on that team that showed up with more rolls of toilet paper and boxes of soap powder (TIDE) than I'd ever seen in my life. The man dip tip is fedora to Coach Stallings.

Help me a little, LSU TIGERS-right?

Auburn tigers but their mascot is a War Eagle? LSU Tigers with a Tiger mascot. The Ole Miss Rebels now have a black bear for a mascot, political correctness run amuck! Never a bad time at a SEC game day. Better bring ear plugs and a thick skin when you visit Baton Rouge, they take there football and tailgating serious. Everybody should tailgate at Ole Miss once, it is definitely an unique experience.

Eating BBQ in Lockhart is on my list too, might have to spend a couple of extra days in Tx when we play A&M. Can't wait to start a new rivalry. Think Mizzou will come also, that's the talk on the streets around here?

File this away for reference, Roger. There is a small state park almost in the town of Lockhart. We spent three days there this spring and I still can't tell you which place had the best BBQ...it was all great.
