I would go to the one in DC, but I'll be on the road that day.

Just make sure your taxes are PAID on or before 15-April, cause .... Well, this is fiction, or at least PART of it is.

There is a fantasy story where a young lady has "Powers" (Physic) and when she shakes hands with an IRS agent she gets visions of him in his former occupation

Gestapo

Now I leave it up to you, the reader, to decide which part is fiction and which part, "might be" and what the odds of it being fiction are.

I would gripe about taxes, but then I remember that I live in the USA, where illegals walk across miles of desert to get here, and, as my father says, that I made enough money to pay taxes. One man's curse is another man's blessing.

I am happy to be able to afford to pay taxes. Now if it was a spending protest . . .

Look for the government to soon tell us how the deficit is being reduced. All those people who developed investor fatigue and exited the markets last year are paying huge capital gains taxes today. Yes, many were long term investors and even after their losses, they had capital gains.

Trust the government to make a silk purse out of a sows ear!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did and Didn't. It would be like .

You gotta laugh though the networks made it sound like it was just a bunch of right wing kooks(their words not mine) that was protesting. I think it was both a tax protest and a spending protest.

We attended the TEA Party in Denton, TX and it was INDEED a spending protest. Actually, the taxes for the spending have yet even to be passed but we all know that they are coming and expect them to be oppressive.
We watched pictures of the crowds in both Atlanta and San Antonio (The Alamo). They were impressive.

We don't feel alone on the spending issue

Attended the Tea Party in Wilmington De. Good crowd for the bad weather. It was more than a protest agaist taxes. Look forward to more in the feature. Washington will have to take notice sooner or later. As the crowds get bigger and bigger.

I attended the rally in Eustis, Florida. The organizer expected 25 people and over 500 showed up. Very good group and no nastyness. Several good speaches and the one TV station that was there, was unable to find any dirt to show. It was mainly about increased spending. Our politicians say that 95% of the people will get lower taxes. We went from a $450 billion deficit to a $1.75 trillion deficit. Those of us who no longer believe in the tooth fairy know that the working people paying taxes will be the ones footing the bill. Nobody but us to pay. I was going to buy the presidential burger, you pay for it and they cut it in half and give half to the guy standing behind you.

Very nice turn out at the St. Paul, MN. It was noted that NO trash was left behind after the government spending protest.

130 tons of garbage was littered on the Washington National Monument in January of this year as the green party celebrated their winner.

When they say Green Party trash you need to be clear that this was NOT St Paddy's Day. No self-respecting Irishman would leave a drop of his lunch behind! No corks neither.
