I read on the internet that
Ramblin

Was actually a KGB deep mole, and that when activated, was assigned the task if initiating a killer virus into the RV database, thereby crippling the communication vehicles of all intelligent RVers.

This would result in a lack of overall coordination of the "Apocalypse" RV rally after the the fall of the "capitalist western economies.

However the fall of the USSR, and the commercialization of China rendered this devious plan moot, and now Ramblin is just a delusional, tired, and bitter EX-KGB agent.
