You also can go swinnin' in the tank, but you make sure you closed the gap so the cows stay in the pasture.

As far as the sweet tea thang goes. Some of have to drink it unsweetened due to a health issue. And we are not that way because we used to much sugar as a kid either.

ahhh no - no - no someone in Washington State selling their version of Texas food.... I wonder if they realize some of it is LA and parts east of there....

Sorry, but.... it's funny to me because so many people (in here in Colorado) claim to make and sell REAL TEXAS BBQ.... Texas BBQ don't have TN sauce... PERIOD....

And those of you who think DICKEY'S is still TEXAS guess again... they contract all their food out to vendors who supply the franchisees ....

We have a rest here who claims it is Japan... niece from Japan read signs and menus... it is Chinese....

Don't believe that WA place it is not TEXAS .... I know I lived there and ate Texas food....

Well, that clears a mystery up for me...obviously the water tank!

When I read the original "swinnin'" I honestly thought it was Texan for some sort of sport or contest involving pigs

Fat fingers and cannot type. It is really a stock tank. You don't want to go swimmin if the cows have come up to water.

It is actually a dirt stock tank. Most of them in west Texas are red clay. That is what we went swimmin in when we were through with work on Saturday. My uncle also had a concrete stock tank. It was a special occasion when we got to go swimmin in it.

For the benefit of those who are native to areas outside of Texas and do not speak our unique dialect, tank and stock tank are interchangeable names for a depression in the earth designed and constructed to catch and hold water. Outside of Texas they are commonly referred to as "ponds"

Guy's you got to travel a little! There is a whole world outside the state line. We actually have cattle and water holes and pickup trucks and all kinds of different food out here. The world is not flat and you won't fall off the edge at the state line. Flame suit on!!
