I don't think there are any inspection points that I can remember, as long as you don't go into California, they do have an inspection.

No ag check points in AZ. There are some border patrol checkpoints but they don't ask about fruit.

The folliowng ? was sent to: Eoin.B.Davis@aphis.usda.gov
May I transport home grown grapefruit from Hidalgo Co. Texas through AZ. My tree has been inspected and NO ACP were found. The fruit has been washed in a mild bleach solution.
I will post his reply.

As stated, the only inspection station we past was from Oregon into California. We never saw another going through Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and eastward all the way back to Canada.

We just finished a trip going though Texas and on to NM and AZ and only check points were US border patrol. No AG checks at all.

I am more interested in the quarantine in Hidalgo Co. Does it affect the fruit or just the plants.
The USDA referred my questions to AZ, waiting for response.
Thanks for all the info on the inspection stations.
