They have 50 amp and water at the sites. Dump station and showers at the park. Also has a little park store for stuff you forget that rents canoes or kayaks can't remember which, maybe both. Nice boat ramp with parking. One for the things we like is the swimming hole called Devil's hole there. It has some rocks you can jump off of, or just watch other do it. You Tube has some videos of it.

Sunset Pointe on Lake LBJ (which is a constant level lake) gets my vote as well. Most of the sites are on the water and while there try Doc's Fishing Camp restaurant back in Marble Falls......you won't be sorry.

You might want to consider Lake Ray Roberts and Isle du Bois State Park.

You Guy's have come up with some good ones,I need to get out of west Texas more often,I'm missing a lot out there,Me and The DW don't require much,i just like being able to drag my chair down to the water and fish for awhile, maybe swim a little bit and setting back under the awing drinking a few cold one's while the stakes are cooking.

The 4 1/2 price coupons come with a few restrictions. First you have to stay 2 or more nights to use one. Can't use more than 1 per visit, & no use on holiday weekends. Which they got me on that cuz I came the Sunday AFTER the 4th & they STILL considered that part of the holiday weekend even though everyone was LEAVING the park to get home.

Yep. Inks Lake and LBJ are very nice lakes. I live about 45 min from both of them. One of the things that makes them nice is that they are constant level lakes. Their levels are maintained by Lake Buchanan above. This is very important in Texas right now. I live at Lake Travis, formerly one of the premier lakes in Texas. It is over 50' low going on 3 years now and all the public boat ramps have been closed. The only hope for some of these lakes is a good tropical storm or an El Nino.
