Ignorance is no excuse:

Some New Texas Laws went into effect September 1, 2011

I especially like the noodling.....we can now noodle like the Okies.

We elect these idiots to go waste time passing so many laws...and every decade or so they may actually pass something that is meaningful.

Noodling is a BIG deal in north texas and Okla. By passing that law, you can now BUY a permit. It's all about the money.

For those who don't want to read all the laws, here is the one on Noodling.

"
'Noodling'
Texans will be able to use their bare hands to catch catfish, using their fingers as bait, officially legalizing "noodling." State-issued fishing licenses and freshwater fishing stamps are required. HB2189
=============

They should also require armor gloves.

No kidding, that is now a law.

I like the one on "loser pays." I wish it was law for the entire US.
