Interesting comment DV.

June 6th .....

I had three of male members of my family not leave the beach. 6'ish days later the fourth had his third Sherman shot out from under him. Number Three? He was sitting half way out turret hatch which is why the '88' didn't kill him out right.

I know Uncle Mac's history, would you like to share yours?

Three 7.xxx's through, and I damned near stepped on the twit in a grass field. For those who've been blessed not to go there ... it's like being hit with a full on baseball bat even with 'armor.'

For context, at that/my point we were 'Advisory,' not combat. Now that went to heck in a hand basket.
