All anyone needs to do is look at this wannabe's record. ONE win in 7 years does not make a race car driver. She had top quality cars in Indy and won once ( and it took the cars in front of her to run out of fuel) Qualifying one at a time is totally different than race conditions. Their are drivers that have far better records that deserve the rides she has been given. Those that know anything about racing know that the only think danika has going for her is one excellent marketing team............period !

Someone tell me how it works. In NFL most popular players are the best at what they do Rogers, Brady, Peterson. Baseball is players like Jeter, Betran, Ichero. Basketball has Labron James and Colby Bryant.
But NASCAR has Dale Jr and Danica between them one NASCAR win in the last three years i dont get it. You would think Jimmy Johnson would be the most popular.

Baaaa. I was a Jr. fan for a few years until I realized the aggravation wasn't worth it. I switched to BK while he was still in the Nationwide ranks and never looked back.

Seven years and one win. The shame of it. Oh, wait- There are still a bunch of driver's in open wheel that have not won a single race.

Danica ran the entire race in the first group, was in 3rd for the last laps behind Biffle. He is no rookie, and he also got snookered by the bottom lane coming by. Where was his move? Did he get out of the throttle when the 93 car went into the wall in turn one, or just loose the draft??...

"After four years and 143 races -- the agonizing near-misses and all those questions about when he might finally win again -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. was alone in his car, {I would hope so} comfortably ahead of the field and only a few minutes from victory."

"Dale Earnhardt Jr. waited four long years to hoist a trophy in Victory Lane at a points race."

"There was no falling short this time. Earnhardt held on smoothly at Michigan International Speedway for his first NASCAR Sprint Cup victory since 2008"

What's this? Danica's first full time Cup season?

Jeffie Gordon kinda looks girly to some, yet he won a few races. What about the 18 yo that won the Nationwide race. You can start last, get a couple laps down add still win a bug race.
