The old geezer's bench

I got me a new job. When I go to Wal-Mart with the DW they put me in charge of the "old geezer's bench" up front. I sit there and check ID of everybody that wants to sit to be sure they're qualified.

It don't pay nothing, but it's a status thing, you know!

I thought of applying as well but am concerned that with my knees I wouldn't be able to get back up from the bench

I use that bench but only after I load the DW's cart with all the stuff I need.

I'm in charge of the bench closest to the restrooms. Seems to meet my personal needs at this stage of the game. No pay but interesting conversations.
