I posted the same thing on the Nascar website.

One Word BOOOORRRRRRIIIINNNNGGGGG

I hope they do redo Bristol, It was not much better, Nascar and the track owners are trying to make the tracks easier for the drivers. Let them go back to dirt for a while.

Oh how I'd love to see them on dirt for a couple of races each year. Then we'd find out who the real drivers are.

Send a message via Yahoo to Rick Long
If you want to find out who the real drivers are... give them some right hand turns.

Naaaa, right hand turns are not nascar...

But they do need to get away from where the entire car is identical except for the engine block and the headlight stickers.
Perhaps the changes coming next year will help.

Me thinks the changes coming next year will be more of the same.... Make the cars "equal" (ie) all the same except for the stickers. NASCAR has become boring and I no longer care to watch 43 identical kit cars go around in circles grouped together.

I suspect the same guy who's been winning most of them lately would continue to do so even on dirt....

Only my opinion but Smoke would be a relief over JJ ... for a while at least.

Nascar has become the IROC series with different stickers on the cars to pretend they are Fords, Chevys etc. It's turning into a pretty sorry specticle. And WOW they are trying to use ethenol and for a real breakthrough, FUEL INJECTION. Be still my heart. I have seen the future and it ain't NASCAR. Take a peek into the stands. Many many empty seats. I guess I am not alone.

I really lost interest in NASCAR when they started the "race to the cup nonsense". The new all the same cars was the last straw. I haven't watched in several yesrs

I would like them to move the Atlanta race to I 285 loop @ 5:00 pm Friday. That would test their road skills.
