Well, my motor home has been back in the shop for the umpteenth time since I bought it on 10/24/2012, this time to get the outside stereo replaced (I'll never use it, but hey if its there it should work, right?), hopefully they will figure out the furnace issue (Bounder Furnace Misbehaving - YouTube), both headlight assemblies are being replaced under warranty due to the clear coat peeling off both lenses, the "humming grill" noise is being addressed...I don't know how yet, and other misc. items, like switches, and trim.

I dropped the MH off on 12/11/2012, it is now 12/19/2012, so far the dealer has had the MH for a week and a day this time around, and since I bought it 57 days ago, the dealer has had it 33 of those days. My point in all of this is that all of the items are being addressed...very slowly, or in the words of my service manager..."very diligently". So I need to be patient... It would be nice though to be able to use my new motor home, and it looks better here at home...

What do I want for Christmas...my motor home, home from the dealer as we're planning our first ever New Years Camping trip. We would like to go out to the Valley of Fire, NV (60 or so miles from my house).

These days do not count for warranty...

If it is in for warranty repairs the warranty clock stops.

You may need the consumer protection dept help, but continue to keep manufacturer copied on ALL communication and officially request confirmation of new end of warranty times, insure they are updated in their system

Also request "extended warranty" on those items that give you the willys..

I have found Findlay RV to be very good at repairs. They even replaced my engine this past spring. Took 6 weeks but runs great.
Have used them for about 4 years for repairs & oil changes when home.
Did not buy the MH there but like there service department.
Sometimes I did also think they took a little longer for repairs then I would have liked. But anything they did for me I was very satisfied with.
Hope all works out for you also.

I cannot complain too much about the quality of their work thus far, as everything they have done so far is up to my strict standards, I just wish that they owned a clock...Appointments have no meaning to the Service Department...other than that I'm a happy camper.
