This is maddening!
So I switch to Dish Network Thursday. Huge hockey (Tampa Bay Lightning) fan, settle in to watch the game last night, NBC Sports Channel is blacked out because its locally on Fox Sports Florida. I put on that channel and guess what...the Rays game is on!!! WTH??? Same thing with my buddy on the next block who has Directv. Boy am I unhappy. I bet folks in Tampa with satellite got the game but here on Florida's east coast, nope! Thank goodness I still had a Brighthouse cable hook up in the spare bedroom that had hockey on Fox Sports Florida in our area not baseball. It's the playoffs vs a meaningless beginning of the season game. Guess I will call Dish and find out the situation.

As a life long Red Wing fan I can tell you missing Thursday game would have been OK.

I'm referring to last night I didn't get satellite until Friday. I'm just looking for a possible way for this to not happen when we kick your butt in game 7. I prefer not being in the spare bedroom to watch hockey. Maybe Dish can explain this when I call them.

Well, you do have a last option, nearest sports bar that's showing the finals. Remember, it's better to ask forgiveness later vs asking permission and being denied.

MADDENING!!!!
I'm a Canucks fan,,,,,,,,,,, went to a farmer yesterday and bought a goats head to do Jamaican Voodoo magic to help my team. The first period went as planned but then,,,,,,,,,,, upon checking my supposed goat head it turned out to be a lamb.

I have cable, have never had a dish but when the Sox and Bruins are on at the save time one is on the main channel of NESN and the other is on their backup channel so you get both.
