Question This post will require only "one" response.

I'm new, so please be gentle

I just joined the forum recently & have figured out most acronyms, but am still stumped by this one.

What is "DW" ??????

I know it refers to a spouse, but still.

Depends on your perspective. Generally it is "Dear Wife" but in the case of my ex..."Dim Wit".

It means whatever you want it to mean. Remember just because you know what an abbreviation means when you type it does not mean that someone that reads it knows what you mean, as evidenced by the vast number of posts on just this one topic "what does dw or dh mean?"

Humm, If I were Elmer J Fudd, owner of a mansion and a yatch...

Darn Wabbit.

Or in the episode where that line came from,,, Darling Wabbit.

(Yes that was the one episode where Elmer got the better of Buggs.. or as Elmer put it... "I may be a screwey wabbit.. but I'm not going to Sing Sing").

PyrateSilly,

Thanks for that bit of clarification. It means, whatever I want it to.
