It is a shame when a few can give a group of mostly wonderful people a bad rap.
I have never had a bad exerience. I just get tired of reading about all this stuff day in and day out. I have gotten to the point that I DON"T listen to the news and only get the Daily News four days a week otherwise I would be cranked up all the time and that is not who I want to be.
From Pacoima to Oregon ? Thats quite a move !!

First off I would like to reply to Mark and Nancy. Spanish is not needed as the immigrants that come here should speak our language which is English and not Spanish. If you want everything in Spanish then go back where they speak Spanish. Remember when in Rome do as the Romans do. This is America and we speak English so if you can't do that then go back where you came from.

Next I would say that sign is Ok, however what do you do when everyone coming onto that lane from an on ramp don't stop and just cut you off causing you to brake or move over. I think you should just forget that sign unless you can correct the on ramp problem first. I always travel in the middle lane when there is 3 lanes for that reason that people can't read YIELD signs and just cut you off and if you blow your horn they gave you a dirty look or the finger.

If there is 3 lanes then you should ride the middle lane (doing the limit of course) and let the car behind you pass you on the left. If there is a truck behind you then move over to let him go and then go back before the next on ramp.

Enjoy!

Agreed. I'm tired of dealing with people who live and work here and can't be bothered to learn our language. When I worked in a convenience store, I was frequently the only English speaker in the store. I've actually had people come up to me and ask me if I spoke Spanish and when I replied, "No" they actually had the gall to ask me why. During the five years I worked that store, we had several people who came in for several years, one the full five years, and never learned to speak English. A friend of mine stayed for a week in a motel in Wyoming three years straight. Two of those years, one of the housekeepers we had never learned to speak English. She wasn't there this year. Her replacement didn't speak English.

The reason they're here working is because they're here doing jobs that we Americans here are too lazy to do, or find too demeaning. I too would like to walk into a motel or grocery store and ask for something and for them to understand me and not feel like the minority, but until Americans change their attitude towards manual labor it is what it is.

Yup, every once in a while someone goes straight in that lane.. Usually they stop at the barrier, about 20 feet below the sign.

Sometimes they get past the barrier.. Then they stop next to the rail road tracks.. About 100 feet below the sign. About 2.5 seconds later (Fifty MPH to zero in nothing flat.. OUCH)

We're getting way off topic here.

Let's get back on topic.

Thanks!

Something to think about when there are 3 lanes. If it is posted no trucks, no commercial vehicles or no over X axles. Don't hog the middle lane. When the truckers can't pass in the left and you are holding them up, it makes them less than happy.
