This time last year....

This time last year....

I was storing the snowblower, doing a PM on the mower, contemplating when to apply crabgrass preventer, planning flowers to plant, deciding how much mulch to apply, determining what needed painting the most, and dreaming of mid April when I would be free and leave on this fulltime adventure.

The chores: never again.

The adventure: never ending!

I may not be the most intetesting man in the world, but I am the luckiest!!!!!

The beauty of it all is stopping to smell the flowers that someone else did all the work on!

Let's see... last year this time I was planning trips in our 10' Trillium trailer. This year workin' out the summer's itinerary in our 24' Ultralite (going to Goshen!). Maybe next year it will be in a Georgetown XL377? Well, I can dream! There were no plans for a new trailer this time last year, so who knows? I am easing the DH down this path slowly.

This time last year we had a unusual heat wave it was 80 degrees and I went out camping. This year we are having a unusual cold wave and it only gets to 35 during the day and 20 at night. That's too cold for me so I'm staying home and dreaming of camping some more.

My thanks to you all.

I will hoist a beer to all of you.
We sniff the (other folks) flowers every day.
There is never a day that I regret not wintering in MN.
And nobody EVER knows when a unavoidable, unintended upgrade may happen.

We thank you for your posts!

May the journey be your destination
