You are the winner, but it did send me to google to find out. Look it up. Did not know these places existed. Cool digs.

But if you look at the way we live with out RVs and look at the simple definition of the word, most of us with RVs go Glamping. Meaning luxury camping in the woods or out with nature without forgoing modern conveniences. Again compliments of Google.

Did not have a clue before I looked it up.

Glamour camping is an oxymoron and it makes me cringe.

Actual camping. You know the one involving a tent, sleeping bags and no modern conveniences. I don't consider parking a house on wheels in an area surrounded by nature as camping.

Replying with the husband's handle since the app is bugging out on my phone.

You did realize that MOST here are camping but not in tents, is it your intent to stir discontent?

Not my intent at all, simply stating my opinion. I don't consider it camping, if you and other people do that is great.

Welcome to our group! I too have spent many a night in a tent. Lots of backpacking in younger days, cabin tent camping as family grew, travel trailer to keep baby ( youngest child ) happy then on to 5er for several years till retirement brought the moterhome.

Our MH would be considered glamorous if all we were doing was camping, actually it's our vacation home, our condo on wheels, and for many it's the only home they own. So yes glamping would be a poor description of what most of us do. Once again Welcome!

I have "camped" in tents, popup tent trailers and in my tow behind trailer but I have never camped in my 40 foot motorhome with in motion satellite dish, generator and washer/dryer, queen size bed and modern kitchen with all the bells and whistles! I just can't equate that to camping at all. I still enjoy camping but just not in a big diesel rig which I consider my home away from home.
