Those familiar and reassuring sounds

I am parked at my daughter's house for the summer now, connected to water and 30 amp electrical service. I took 2 months to drive here from Mom's place near Houston -- most of the time boondocking. The water pump just got turned off and I find I miss the growl it makes every time I turn on the tap.

Alas, I still have that comforting "Click" that the frig door makes when fully closed. I LOVE RV life!

I really like the smell of our RV. I don't know how to describe it, but it smells like relaxation and good times ahead. If I could only be able to bottle it up and take it to work. Nov. 30th should be my last day of work before I retire. We are raising our granddaughter and it will be another four years before we will be able to really get away. It's coming though.

Hang in there CharlieTwo! November is just around the corner.

Having raised a grandaughter myself, all I can say is enjoy the experience, it is something I will always look back upon with pride and pleasure. You should be very proud!!

And I agree, there is something very special about the smell of our RV also. Can't describe it, but I like it a lot!!!

In a way. our coaches are living, breathing things. Every one is unique, and they all speak to us in a language we alone truly understand. I can tell when my coach is sick because of the sounds she makes. She tells me she's sick, and sends me on a journey to find and fix her ills.

Two best nights of our year:

Night one is the first night out in the MH as we head away for winter. The MH is so cozy.

Second is the first night home when we return in the spring. The King Bed is so spacious.
