Three pairs of glasses

Is it just me,or alla us older fellas (perhaps ladies too) that wear glasses have a need to have at least 3 pair? I put a pair down and then 10 minutes later I cant remember where I put them (happens with coffee cups too). With three pair I wouldnt have to worry about it anymore....or...would I?

As long as you don't forget what the glasses are for your OK! I have only two pair, well maybe three if you count the sunglasses but I rarely seem to ware those since I have the transision lenses. I do find myself wandering aimlessly though when I put a pair down cause I can't see where they or the other pair might be.

I bought DH a 5-pack of readers at Sam's Club:
1pr - next to recliner
1pr - next to bed
1pr - on work bench
1pr - in the "reading room"
1pr - for the coach

Nice to know I'm not the only one with these kinds of problems. Readers, bifocals and sunglasses. I did find an old pair of glasses that corrects my hindsight to 20/20. They worked so well, I tried turning them around backward to see if I could see into the future...oh well. Bob

I utilize redundancy for many things. I keep OTC meds, skincare products, and make-up packed in my luggage so I don't have to remember to pack them or bother with unpacking when I get home.

Besides my trifocals, I have a pair of readers I keep on my computer desk (saves my neck because I don't have to look up to get the correct lens of my trifocals aimed at the screen and keyboard). I have another pair of readers I use when watching TV in bed because the wrong lens lines up when using my trifocals. I keep an older pair of trifocals in my truck in case I break, lose, or forget my good ones. When working at Renaissance Festivals, I can get away with not wearing my trifocals unless I have to read something so I keep a small pair of readers in a small pouch so I can whip them out if needed.

I haven't gotten to the point I need to keep a pair in the "library" (yet).

I had a pair of readers at home, motro home, work, car and garage. Everytime I got a new pair, I rotated them. The house pair to the motor home, motor home to work, work to car, car to garage. Then I had to buy a pair so I could read my gauges at 40" away in the motor home and then a pair for night driving.

I finally gave up and had the monovision laser surgery last month. No more glasses. I can now read the road signs and menus in dark restaurants.

I usually look for mine only to find them on top of my head. Another thing we look for constantly is our cell phones - have to remember to keep them charged so we can call them when necessary. And then, of course, are the lost keys - house keys, work keys, car keys, Moho keys, and etc...

I have about 500 pairs of "drugstore readers" that all somehow end up in the same drawer. It never fails that if I am upstairs, ALL OF THEM are downstairs. Ack. (Or one pair is sitting on my head while I search, lol.)

Maybe it's a good thing I can't see without mine. They go on in the morning and off at night. Since I don't ever take them off, I don't lose them.

I'm pretty much the same way. My trifocals stay on until I go to bed, Then they go on the night stand. In the morning, they go back on my face. The only other times they come off is when showering, and when I'm watching TV in bed and using the computer because I have el cheapo readers I use then.

I have two sets of keys; one has the house door key, my mail service keys, and my truck related keys (I used to have work keys but I don't have that "problem" anymore). The other one has only the keys that I use only at home. Both reside alongside my purse which always lands on the dresser in my bedroom. I have to habitually put things in the same place everytime or I'll never find them, even if I'm staring at them.

My cell phone is easy to deal with: except for the rare occasions I actually use the darned thing, I just keep it in my purse, turned off. The only time I have to charge it is when I've actually used it for more than a minute or two (generally, when I'm traveling). I'll charge it just before a trip, just in case, but, otherwise, I charge it maybe three times a year.

Getting old is grand...lol It just makes the day more interesting , playing hide and seek, looking for misplaced glasses, keys, cell phone,....or crap, where did I leave the DH....

My glasses go on when I get up and off when I go to bed. If I didn't do that I would need my glasses to find my glasses.
DW has about 5 pair and she's always looking for a pair.

I don't have time to hunt DH; I'm too busy trying to remember why I came into this room.
