Time to get ready for summer....

Down south it is already summer and we are ready to hit the road. So as a reminder to all of you folks up north with RV, it is time to get some of the required work done and ready for the season.

1. Take the RV down and get the air in the tires changed from winter air to summer air. If youa re running nitrogen in your tires, you can get the all-season nitrogen and stop worrying about this issue. Do not forget the spare tire or the bicycle tires.

2. Drain the head light fluid and repalce with an all season halogen fluid.

3. Grease the muffler bearings with a high temperature summer synthetic grease.

I am sure I forgot a few thing, so add on what I forgot.

Ready to hit the road. Whrere did I store the beer cooler?

Ken

Top off the alternator
Change with a new turn signal flasher(so you can leave the left blinking forever)
Let your grey/black cap dangle on its little retainer
Raise your TV antenna to let others know you are coming
Open two windows in your toad to vent hot air
Leave one compartment door ajar for ventilation in storage area
Always travel with your green(fresh water) hose laying on rear bumper to dry
Be sure to place lime green tennis balls under wiper arms if in motorhome

Time to get ready for summer? Forget the bloody calendar, it's been summer here for at least a month!
